The Boathouse

Scattered along the coastline, traditional boathouses reflect the region’s rich fishing heritage – a legacy of one of Norway’s most renowned fishing districts. Just a short walk from the hotel, our own fjordside Boathouse offers a dining experience rooted in these maritime traditions.

Tastefully furnished with rustic elegance, the boathouse features a large hearth for open fire-cooking and an open kitchen where you can watch the chef prepare a menu inspired by the surrounding sea. Enjoy authentic regional flavors with ingredients sourced from nearby farms and fisheries, all while gazing out over the fjord and witnessing nature's ever-changing canvas – from golden sunsets to the dramatic dance of coastal winds.

Every Friday through autumn and the festive season, we invite you to the Boathouse for a shared dining experience. The evening features a curated five-course menu, with the option to add selected wine pairings by our sommelier, along with other refreshments.
